Seattle-based seven piece band The Dip is known for their freewheeling, electric concerts, and groove-heavy sound, leading hometown station KEXP to hail them as  “one of the most exciting and joyous acts to emerge in recent years.”

Of their Dualtone debut single, “Paddle to the Stars,”  lead singer Thomas Eddy says “It’s about being in a relationship with someone who’s emotionally in touch beyond your own abilities, but recognizing that and wanting to invest in opening up,” says lead vocalist Thomas Eddy. “I liked the idea of playing with the image of the immensity of the ocean, how it’s sustaining but also dangerous—and if you don’t watch out, it’ll get you.”
